Expert in application development, Business Analysis, and end-user (traders) support, we are looking to strengthen its team in New York with a highly motivated Informatica Developer.

Summary of Position:

The candidate will collaborate closely with Finance business groups to conduct data analysis, develop reports, and design systems. Strong design and analysis skills are essential to ensure comprehensive and intuitive deliverables.

The candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with a focus on thorough documentation and project artifact creation.

Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and effective change management processes is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data integration solutions using Informatica Power Center, connecting heterogeneous databases, web sources, XML sources, Microsoft SharePoint, and Salesforce.

• Create, monitor, and manage Informatica workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

• Identify inefficiencies, propose process improvements, and automate where feasible.

• Design workflows to ensure timely data availability through Informatica ETL.

• Develop Power BI Dashboards to support end-user reporting requirements.

• Establish best practices for data assessment and interpretation across multiple dashboards to ensure consistent information representation.

• Develop a solution/framework for provisioning data for business users creating reports and for those who are consumers.

• Support existing Informatica workflows and implement new features and changes as needed.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Information Technology.

• Minimum 8 years of experience preferred in a financial services organization.

• Deep expertise in Informatica Power Center 10.2.

• Demonstrated experience in implementing Informatica’s ETL components.

• Proficiency in writing, troubleshooting, and executing SQL queries and scripts.

• Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

• Experience with Python is a plus.

• Experience with Hadoop environment and tools is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexible and open to using and learning new tools and applications.

• Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills, multitasking, prioritization, attention to detail, and meeting deadlines.
